Releasing the Suffering—Parts 1-2,000
This blog post is also available on my Facebook page to make sharing it with friends and family easy for you to do.
Folks,
Good day and hello.
Whatever moment you open to this blog, let yourself sit within that moment.
However you find yourself showing up, let yourself sit within that moment.
Whatever commitments to yourself you are able to meet, let yourself sit within that moment.
Whatever commitments you are not able to meet, let yourself sit within that moment.
If you feel abiding love for another, let yourself sit within that moment.
If you feel grrrrrr toward another, let yourself sit within that moment.
It is not the feelings that hurt us—
It’s wanting ourselves to be different.
That is the difference, I do believe,
Between pain
(Which, in case you haven’t noticed, is inevitable)
And
Suffering
(Which is absolutely optional.)
Suffering is wanting the moment to be different.
Suffering is wanting ourselves to be different.
Suffering is wanting another to be different.
Suffering is constricting, minimizing, tightening.
Relaxing is opening, expanding, becoming fluid.
I’m not saying, accept things as they are,
People as they are,
Life as it is,
And walk away.
I am saying—
Accept things as they are,
And from the earth of acceptance
From the earth of relaxation,
From the earth of expansive,
Do the next right thing.
The surrender of acceptance
Needs the right action of the will
To be alive,
To be potent,
To be impactful.

- What does this mean to you?
- How might you practice this in your life?
- Be specific. What would that look like?

I’m keeping this blog writing super simple today, as I ready myself, my will, and my surrender into the flow of the Inner Quest Intensive, my weekend program. I am ecstatic with the weekend’s possibilities.
Yet, right here, right now—here is a beautiful thing for our hearts. Thanks, Callie, for forwarding.
See where in your body, your heart, this might touch you.

Dear Friends,
With gratitude
For your hearts.
With gratitude
For this moment
As
It
Is.
All blessings,
Aruni
