Not Over Yet: Simple Strategies to Struggle Less and Savor More
My newest book, released in late October of 2013, preserves the power of the narrative, while inviting its readers to fully participate in the explorations that the book suggests. Part memoir, part interactive workbook, I encourage my readers with gentle softness, to create their own experience of love, breath, and surrender. Each narrative chapter, which describes an epiphany from my life—hopefully eliciting your own epiphanies and growth—is followed by two interactive sections, “Questions for the Heart” and “Practice for Your Life.”
The writing in this book has been described as “Aruni’s signature blend of delicious humor and deep wisdom.”

Recovering My Voice: A Memoir of Chaos,
Spirituality, and Hope
When I was a child, I always wanted to be a writer! Oh, to have the full range of words at my fingertips, to speak aloud whatever I was thinking—what a fantasy, what a possibility. It took almost sixty years to translate this passion into the written word.
This book was published just around my 60th birthday in 2008, in response to my friend, Audrey’s encouragement to “follow that passion—just write the damn book.” Everything changed with those words. Little did I know how much would emerge from her full permission.
Recovering My Voice is a spiritual memoir, tracing my journey from darkness to light, from addiction to sobriety, from alienation to community, and from self-imposed silence into voice.
It has been described as, “Funny and delicious, a real spiritual feast.”

Already Home: Stories of a Seeker
When I finished my first book in 2008, I discovered that I had more to say! I didn’t want to stop writing, so—I didn’t. This second book emerged. It was a harder and deeper birthing. I had to face issues on a deeper and different level. It was profoundly healing for me to work my way through this process.
This book, Already Home, integrates the voice of my personal memoir along with my teaching voice. It has three sections in it: What Was, What Is, What Might Be. Part One continues the journey into personal narrative and creative non-fiction. Parts Two and Three use my teaching voice, where I explain the teachings of living yoga—Body, Practice, Mind, Heart, Calling, Spirit, Home. It has been described as “Insightful, helpful, touching and deep.”

Life~Works: Meditations for Mindful Living CD
This was the first product that I created in 2007. I love leading guided meditations—it is my life’s dear passion. It made sense to begin there. But yet, oh, how that microphone intimidated me. While recording, I remember shutting my eyes and imagining I was in the Forest Room, with eager and receptive Kripalu guests before me.
This CD is comprised of five guided meditations, each lasting between ten and twelve minutes, introduced with just a minute or two of contexted teaching. The wonderful musician, Matt Kelly, created original and brilliant music to surround each meditation.
